About This Course
Program Overview:
The Silver Professional Flight Safety, Emergency & Medical Care Diploma (SPD-SE) is an intensive, two-year applied qualification developed under the Echo Operating System (EOS). It qualifies safety marshals, cabin safety auditors, and flight medical emergency specialists across 4 training semesters comprising 20 accredited modules that combine theoretical aeronautical medicine, tactical firefighting, and realistic aquatic survival drills.
Core Training Pillars & Delivery:
- Aviation Medicine & Critical In-Flight Care: Human physiology at high altitudes (hypoxia, decompression, barotrauma), CPR/AED certification, medical kit operation (EMK/FAK), and managing in-flight medical emergencies (cardiac arrest, severe allergic reactions, emergency childbirth).
- Tactical Cabin Firefighting & Smoke Scenarios: Physics of enclosed aircraft fires, Class A/B/C/Lithium-ion battery battery fire suppression, Protective Breathing Equipment (PBE) operation, and low-visibility smoke evacuation.
- Wet Drills & Maritime Ditching Survival: Sea survival mechanics, life-raft command and deployment, signaling devices, survival ration management, and hypothermia prevention.
- Emergency Evacuation Slide & Rapid Disembarkation: Exit door operation in emergency mode, slide and slide-raft deployment, crowd panic management, and 90-second aircraft evacuation execution under ICAO/FAA standards.
Accreditation:
Officially accredited and certified by the American Institute for Professional Education (AIPE) in alignment with ICAO Annex 6 and IATA emergency safety directives.
